Gun drawn in road rage clash on Constant Spring Road

October 07, 2025

Police are probing a road rage incident in St Andrew where a firearm was drawn and a man was beaten along the roadway, apparently in full view of a policeman.

The STAR understands that before the assault, a car chase unfolded along sections of Constant Spring Road.

A short video, seemingly recorded by a passenger in a public vehicle, has since gone viral on social media.

Checks by The STAR revealed that the man seen brandishing the firearm is said to be a member of the military.

Police investigators have confirmed that they are looking into that angle as part of their probe.

The incident reportedly happened along Constant Spring Road, near Oakland Apartments, where a grey SUV and a white Toyota Probox appeared to have been cornered.

It is understood that the Probox hit the SUV and allegedly failed to stop, before driving off.

It is not clear if an official report of the assault was made to the police.

Members of the St Andrew North Police Division say they have seen the video circulating and confirmed that an investigation is ongoing.
