The recently held Louis Industrial Garage-sponsored Truck Fest is set to become a household event for all to enjoy based on a successful last staging and the support it received.

"This is my way as a trucker to show Jamaica that persons in the business can have fun in a meaningful way,"

promoter Christopher 'Spego' Williams said, noting he was grateful for the support from persons in the trucking business who came on as sponsors.

Accountant Carline Dawkins was also impressed with the event, saying, "We think, as Jamaica's largest suppliers of truck and industrial parts and accessories for the last 49 years, we are duty-bound to support the festival."

Meanwhile, Wayne Holung, who won the FP Diesel 'Best Overall Truck' was overwhelmed with gratitude as he collected his prizes at the LIG Complex on Spanish Town Road in Kingston on December 23.

"This is a very great day for me, but I know that I could not lose as my truck was the best. This will be done all over next year as my truck will remain in great condition," Holung said.

Trucks were graded based on paintings, engine readiness, interior and overall readiness.
